Clinton Andavall was born in New York in 1924 and he enlisted in the Army in New York City, N.Y. in 1943. Andavall had completed hight at the time of his enlistment and was unmarried. He joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo., where he was assigned to Company A of the 85th Infantry Regiment. Later, he was reassigned to Company L of the 86th Regiment. He served at Camp Swift and had attained the rank of Corporal before he was sent to officer's candidate school at Fort Benning, Ga. ...
